Vanessa's Story

Vanessa is a Non - Executive Director and trusted strategic advisor to founders, CEOs and executive teams leading complex, growth stage and enterprise organisations across Australia and internationally.

She currently serves on the board of an ASX listed organisation Nido Education supporting the organisation’s mission of delivering exceptional early education. She also chairs the Remuneration & Nomination Committee and overseas executive performance, succession planning and organisational capability. Vanessa is also a Board member of the Southern Highlands Artisan Collective(SHAC) contributing to the growth of a community-led organisation supporting local artists and creative initiatives.

Over the last two decades, Vanessa has had significant Senior Executive roles including:

General Manager - People and Culture with National Rugby League

General Manager - Human Resources with Staging Connections

Director - Talent, Learning and Development with McDonalds

Her governance experience gives her a deep understanding of the commercial, cultural and leadership dynamics that shape sustained performance. Vanessa works alongside leaders carrying significant enterprise and P&L responsibility supporting them to navigate growth, transformation, risk and succession with clarity and confidence.

She is known for creating high-trust, strategically rigorous environments where experienced leaders can step back from operational urgency, think at altitude, and challenge one another as true peers. Her experience spans founder-led businesses, mid-market enterprises and publicly listed organisations across sectors including financial services, consumer goods, infrastructure, biotechnology and education.

Vanessa started her own boutique consultancy (All Of You Pty Ltd) in 2015. She is known for her five-step framework which she launched in her book titled `Do Less, BE More’. It is built on five practical steps of professionally proven implementation.
