Owen's Story

Owen Hallam is a former CFO turned Executive and Leadership Coach who brings over 20 years of experience in leadership, finance and team performance to the table. Having started his career in audit with Grant Thornton, he went on to hold senior finance roles across a range of industries—working closely with founders, executive teams, and boards to navigate growth phases, complex restructures, and strategic realignment.

Owen’s leadership style is shaped by time spent in the thick of business—from managing multi-million-dollar budgets and cross-functional teams, to rolling up his sleeves to solve people and process challenges. His ability to bridge commercial acumen with calm, clear-headed leadership has made him an advisor for the boardroom and beyond.

Driven by a deep interest in human potential and performance, Owen now runs Ledger Leaders—a leadership and executive coaching practice dedicated to helping professionals grow into confident, high-impact leaders. He specialises in working with leaders who are looking to lead with more clarity, influence and impact, while building strong cultures, drive alignment, and lead beyond the numbers.

Owen is known for his grounded presence, practical wisdom, and ability to help others see what’s really in their way—and what’s possible on the other side.

He's looking forward to sharing that wisdom and experience with a new cohort of business leaders as he launches a new CEO group with LTT in Melbourne in July 2025.
