Off-Season IWD Event: Powerplay - honest learnings from a first time CEO

Join us at our off-season IWD event for an insightful presentation from Laura Hamilton O'Hara, CEO of the Living Future Institute of Australia. As a first time CEO, Laura will examine her experiences with power, in all its manifestations.

What is power? Where does power come from? How do you understand it? How do you grow it? How do you use the power you have, ethically?

Laura Hamilton-O’Hara is a highly accomplished leader and advocate for environmental sustainability and social justice, with over two decades of experience in the field. She was recognised as one of the 50 Women in Global Sustainability Leadership by Sustainability X Magazine in 2022. Laura currently serves as the CEO of the Living Future Institute  of Australia where she spearheads the organisation’s mission to harness the power of the built environment in creating a socially just, culturally rich, and ecologically restorative world.
