Phil Hesketh in Sydney
“The Psychology of Persuasion and Influence”
The Leadership Thinktank is excited to have Phil Hesketh, one of UK’s foremost experts on persuasion, present an inspiring session to give you practical, tangible strategies to apply in your business.
Thursday February 19 2015, 7.45am – 11.00am, BDO, Level 11, 1 Margaret Street, Sydney
What a great session!
On Thursday February 19, Phil Hesketh delivered an outstanding presentation to a room packed with over 80 CEOs and business leaders at BDO’s headquarters in Sydney! Many of the LTT members were back to see him a second time after he’d already presented in their group meetings. Phil’s messages are right on track and his trademark Killer Questions have given all participants 50 new ways to engage and influence their clients and network.
As one participant said “Phil combines the story-telling skills of Ronnie Corbett with the pithy life observations of Billy Connolly, to produce memorable and meaningful ways to reach our customers and to grow our businesses.”
It was fantastic to have a speaker of the calibre of Phil Hesketh present to our members and guests for the first of our Speaker Series events for 2015. Stay tuned for the next instalment!
Phil Hesketh has structured his life in a way that is the envy of others. Initially a psychology graduate from Newcastle University in the UK, and a sales graduate with Procter & Gamble, in 1986 Phil became a founding Director of Advertising Principles in Leeds. From a standing start, the business grew to a point where Phil was the Managing Partner, turnover was £48 million, and they were employing 150 people.
Phil’s first book ‘How to Persuade and Influence People’ is an Amazon number one best seller and has been described as ‘The definitive guide to persuasion and influence’.
Having spent his entire working life studying and practising persuasion and influence, Phil now shares his learnings on this topic around the world. This subject has dominated his academic and professional career to date, his knowledge and understanding of it has been at the very root of his success. He is a speaker, raconteur and author, and offers wit and wisdom on human behaviour and how to influence it.
